Handy size for archipelago sailing while the world-crusing boat Vagabond 31 is suitable in all seas - many have sailed across the Atlantic and in 2018 Kjell Litwin successfully sailed around the world in the stormy latitudes Roaring 40 and furious 50 with this particular boat model.
The designer is Harry Becker and the first model was built in 1981. My model is the latest built, in 1995. The boat is characterized by its relatively deep long keel, which makes it stable and safe in basically all weather.

My sailing journey started with the Sea Scouts at an early age when I started sailing dinghies in Drevviken with questionable ability. During my elementary and high school years, I sailed a schooner and had fun learning how to catch flatfish in the eel grass.
Since then, I have not been able to give way to the attraction of the sea and to travel on water, either by sailboat, kayak or ship. I have experience of longer sailings, including to Denmark and love to sail to the Baltic Sea's nearby South Sea pearl Gotska Sandön.
In recent years, I have taken part in unforgettable delivery sailings along the coast of Norway and down to Dakar in West Africa. I have a ship's officer's degree class VIII and have sailed around the Archipelago with lovely fellow sailors, both with and without previous sailing experience.
Getting along completely silently with the help of the wind, makes sailing an ideal and peaceful way to discover the outside world, with all the adventures waiting to be discovered around the corner.

I am driven by creating community and a respite in the casual rat race. I want to inspire others to surrender to nature and the sea. In an age where the rapid advancement of technology sometimes seems to isolate us, I strive to create an oasis of sharing and togetherness.
In our community, nothing is too big to achieve and no dream too wild to follow!
