  • Do I need any sailing experience?
    No, you do not need to have any previous sailing experience. You can choose if you just want to come along or if you want to be schooled in the noble art of sailing.
  • How do I find the boat?
    Municipal: Take the commuter train no 43 towards Nynäshamn station (end station), get off at the front in the direction of the train, then take the first and second to the right, then straight ahead until you come to a parking lot. Behind the car park is Frejas Holme and the Hoppetossan play park. The boat is located at pier 400. With car: From Stockholm take route 73 south towards Nynäshamn. Drive to the guest harbor where you turn left and then the first right after the commuters train station. The nearest car park is at Frejas Holme. Walk about 50 m to pier 400.
  • What clothes and equipment are needed?
    Bring clothes adapted to the season and at least 2 extra layers if it's cold. Wool and fleece are good materials on at sea. The layer on layer method with a windbreaker at the end is preferred. During spring and autumn it is also good to have a hat and gloves. Wear comfortable shoes with soft soles that won't stain. In rainy weather or strong wind, rubber boots or other waterproof boots are recommended. Life jackets, safety harnesses are available to borrow on board. There are also two life jackets for children up to 30 kg. Just remember to state the child's weight when booking. 2 offshore jackets and bib can be loaned to adults if needed. Don't forget sunglasses and sunscreen.
  • What should I think about if I'm going to spend the night on board?
    On board our boats there are pillows and duvets, and you bring your own sheets and pillowcases or sleeping bag and undersheets, unless otherwise stated in the booking information. Most berths are full length (2 m).
  • Do I need any insurance?
    All our tours are insured and cover serious accidents and injuries. We also recommend that you have your own accident insurance.
  • How to book our services?
    You book via the booking system on the website under the contact menu or via email/sms/phone call.
  • Can I rebook my sailing trip?
    Yes, the sailing trip can be rebooked up to 14 days before departure. Contact Trysail via email or SMS.
  • Can I cancel my tour?
    You can cancel your sailing trip up to 30 days before it starts and then 90% of the cost will be refunded. When there are less than 30 days left until the tour, no repurchase is made.
  • How do you pay?
    You can pay with Swish or bank transfer.
  • Do you cancel sailing in case of rain or extremely windy weather?
    We usually do not cancel the trip in case of rain, bring rain clothes and boots. Two offshore jackets and bib are available to borrow in extreme cases or if someone forgot to bring rain gear. However, if the weather during the trip is so severe or unstable that the sailing cannot be carried out, we will offer you to move the sailing to another time. Decisions about this are usually made close to sailing, as weather forecasts are a fresh commodity.
